Meteoria's environmental promise for sustainable development

In the middle of the ancient, well-preserved meteorite crater Söderfjärden, we in the Meteoria team promise to continue to strengthen our efforts for sustainable development by

  • Bring the center's environmental policy to life as a natural part of all public viewings
     
  • Protect the site's unique natural and cultural heritage, including the meteorite crater, the geological and archaeological finds on the crater rim, the agricultural landscape and birdlife

  • Develop the renewable and climate-friendly energy production that has been the center's guiding principle since its inception in 2008

  • Promote the UN's global sustainability goals according to the Agenda 2030 program

  • In collaboration with the public and partners, remain a green pioneer with Visit Finland's Sustainable Travel Finland – STF status
